Who we are

This website (studysprint.co.uk) is run by the StudySprint student project, which is the data controller for personal data collected through the site. You can contact us at hello@studysprint.co.uk.

What we collect and why

  • Contact form: your name, email address, the reason for your message, an optional order reference and your message, so we can reply. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.
  • Newsletter sign-up: your email address, so we can send the emails you asked for. Lawful basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Checkout (simulated): your name, email, billing details, order details and download records, so we can process your order and give you access to your files. Lawful basis: contract.
  • Analytics (only if you accept analytics cookies): pages viewed, device type and approximate location, so we can understand how the site is used and improve it. Lawful basis: consent.

Who we share it with

  • Our web host, which stores the website and its database in a secure data centre.
  • Google Analytics, which collects usage statistics only with your consent. Google may process data outside the UK under approved safeguards.
  • We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Contact messages, order records and download records are kept for up to 12 months. Newsletter subscribers are kept until they unsubscribe. Because this is a time-limited university project, all personal data will be deleted when the project ends.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@studysprint.co.uk to make a request. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
